Responsibilities:

· Helping with everyday chores such as eating, bathing/showering, and using the toilet.

· When required, using hoists to transfer patients.

· Assisting in the cleaning of the patient's room.

· Communication with residents.

· Participating in meetings with other healthcare providers.

· Helping nurses and other staffs as required.

· Adhering to professional standards.

· Reporting to Case Managers and assessing any significant changes in the patient's health.

Job Requirements:

· 6 Months experience within care (Preferred).

· Location within the United Kingdom (Required), Commutable to Colchester, Essex.

· Over 18 years only (Required).

Responsibilities:

· Keep frequent communication with the home manager.

· Assist with daily living activities and household chores of the residents.

· Create and retain appropriate records.

· Act in the capacity of Senior Health Care Assistant, which includes managing staff.

· Helping in the provision of personal care.

· Effective communication skills.

· Ensure the welfare, health, and safety of the clients.

· Be accountable for giving residents their medications in line with rules and procedures.

· Be accountable for doing realistic evaluations of each resident and reporting those results to ensure continuity of care.

· Taking part in drafting and updating resident paperwork and care plans.

· Perform formal supervisions and evaluations; participate in care planning; and mentor care assistants.

Job Requirements:

· 2 years’ experience in care within the UK.

· 1 year experience in a supervisory role within the care setting.

· NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Medication Support (Qualification Attained or Working towards)

Preferred skills

· Excellent communication skills (reading, writing and speaking)

· The ability for efficient planning and time management.

· Experience in managing a team.

Additional notes

Able to commute to the Colchester, Essex and various client locations. 

Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
